Basheerbagh: Director of Enforcement and Vigilance Vishwajit advised students to excel in sports, apart from focusing in studies. He was speaking as a chief guest of sports day programme, organised by Rosary Convent High School, held at LB Stadium on Sunday. Vishwajit started sports day celebrations by lighting a lamp and releasing pigeons. Students performed march past and cultural programmes on the occasion.

Vishwajit advised students to imbibe patriotic feelings right from childhood and contribute for national growth. Explaining various opportunities in sports, he said that by excelling in sports students could achieve their higher goals. He also advised parents to help their kids excel in their field of interest.

Dances reflecting different traditions and cultures of India by the school students captivated the audience. Prominent sports personalities such as former captain of Indian Basketball team Mohammad Rizwan, international Table Tennis player Naina Jaiswal and others attended the programme. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various sports competition.
