Kakatiya Seva Samithi, Kukatpally, organised a symposium jointly with Deeksha Academy, at Nizampet Road on ‘Career Guidance—Civil Services’, with G S Sampath, former Chief Election Commissioner, as the chief guest.

Kukatpally: Kakatiya Seva Samithi, Kukatpally, organised a symposium jointly with Deeksha Academy, at Nizampet Road on 'Career Guidance—Civil Services', with G S Sampath, former Chief Election Commissioner, as the chief guest.

It was attended by MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, retired IAS officers Umamaheswar Rao and Kesava Chakravarthy, former IPS officer Umapathi, ex-Chief Labour Commissioner Ramana Kumar, former chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Adusumilli Venkateswar Rao, Deeksha Academy CEO Rajeswara Rao attended.

About 500 students, both boys and girls, participated. The guests advised the students on the require d educational qualifications/eligibility, subjects to be chosen and how to prepare for the examinations.

The organisers collected details of the candidates who are keen to pursue Civils study. They decided to provided these candidates free coaching, after conducting an eligibility test.

On the occasion, representatives of the Telangana Kamma Seva Sanghala Samaikya distributed scholarships to poor but meritorious students pursuing Intermediate courses. The scholarships were funded by Boddu Ashok (Rs 1 lakh) and Pathuri Venkata Rao (Rs 50,000).
