West Maredpally: Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav urged TRS party cadre to not to get disappointed with recent loss in elections, but to move ahead and focus on the development.

He was addressing TRS party cadre of Sanathnagar constituency here at his residence on Sunday. Later, he conducted meeting with party cadre of Nampally, Jubilee Hills and Khairatabad constituencies.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that successes and failures are part of the election process and urged the party cadre to respect the mandate given by the people. Rather than getting dejected by the results, the cadre should set their eyes on the development of their respective constituencies and on addressing public issues, he said.

He urged them to identify main issues in every division, colony and basti and to bring them to his notice. Lauding various welfare schemes initiated by CM K Chandrashekar Rao, he said that TRS government has become a role model for various states in this regard. He thanked KCR for giving the 32-year-old, Saikiran Yadav, an opportunity to contest in Parliament elections to encourage youngsters to enter into politics.

Saikiran gave a tough fight although he is contesting for the first time, he said. Saikiran Yadav, addressing the party cadre, thanked them for the support during the elections. He promised to stay close to public and strive to address their issues.
