Cherlapally: Underground drainage (UGD) works costing Rs 6 lakh commenced at Road No. 4 in Shiva Sai Nagar on Friday.

The officials concerned sanctioned funds after they received a representation from the colony welfare association stating that the present drainage system was not sufficient as the population numbers increased in the area.
