District Collector MV Reddy in a press release said that they declared a holiday for government and private offices on April 11 to cast vote in Lok Sabha elections. The Collector requested the employees to exercise their franchise. He requested companies to give some time to employees to use their vote.

Reddy said people can complain by dialling toll-free number 18005996399 if companies and organisations fail to give a holiday for employees to cast the vote. He expressed his agony as literates not turning to the polling centres. Reddy said they made all arrangements at polling centres. The Collector appealed to voters to avail the facility and cast their votes.
