Visakhapatnam: Mullapudi Narendranath, the Joint Managing Director (JMD) of The Andhra Sugars Limited, on Wednesday received 'The Breed Conservation Award — 2020' from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research — National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal, Haryana, for his contribution to the conservation and improvement of the Ongole breed of cattle.
He received the award from Dr V K Saxena, ADG (AP&B), ICAR, New Delhi, at Breed Conservation Award Celebrations held in Karnal on the occasion of the Kisan Diwas through a virtual meeting.
