Woman attempts suicide by jumping from Prakasam barrage

Vijayawada: A woman has attempted suicide by jumping into Krishna river from the Prakasam barrage in Vijayawada. The swimmers who noticed the woman has immediately dived into the water and rescued her. The entire incident was captured by the CCTV cameras instaled in the area.

In the footage, the woman came walking on the barrage along with her son, and she left him on the bridge and jumped into the river on Wednesday. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
