American President Donald Trump's Tulsa rally was touted to be a major crowd puller or so they thought after looking at the ticket sales. But little did they know what was going on. Fingers are being pointed at TikTok users and K pop fans.

Over a million ticket requests were expected at Trump's re-election rally. Besides, several events were also being planned outside the rally hoping the crowd would swell. But the campaign chairman was in for a rude shock to find low people turnout at the rally.

The BOK center with a capacity to hold over 19,000 people was booked for the rally. However, things did not go as planned. According to a spokesperson of the campaign, Trump supporters were stopped from entering the rally by protesters at the venue.

What was more interesting was that hundreds of thousands of Korean pop fans and TikTok users are said to have registered for the much hyped rally as PRANK!!

On june 11, Team Trump had urged users to register for free to the event. And K pop fans reportedly shared the social media message extensively asking people to register and not show up later.

TikTok soon caught on the trend with several users registering for the event and then making videos in which they expressed their inability and regret to attend the Trump event. These TikTok video surrounding the Trump event garnered impressive eyeballs too.

The plan to rob Trump's rally of people started with K pop and TikTok and soon spread to other social media channels like Instagram and Snapchat. And then word spread like wildfire and they were able to successfully ensure low turnout of people at Trump's rally at Tulsa.

Interestingly, a few TikTok videos even tutored users on how to register for Trump's campaign with fake name and phone numbers. Later, teens were seen celebrating the hashtag #bestseniorprankever.
