Militant attack on CRPF jawans at Pulwama school

They also tried to target children by firing at the school building. At least six to eight bullets were fired by unidentified terrorists on the CRPF post at the school, the CRPF said.
The personnel were on guard outside the Class 10 examination centre, where students were appearing for the board exams. "The attack was promptly retaliated by the troops.
Additional deployment reached," the CRPF said. Initial information suggests that there have been no injuries. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway.
According to reports, five students were trapped at the site, but they have been rescued by security forces.
CRPF and local police were on duty guarding the examination centre when the incident took place.
