One died, pilot injured in paragliding accident in Manali

Going into details, Arvind (27), a native of Chennai got married to Priti last week. The newlywed couple traveled to Manali for a honeymoon trip. As part of the tour, they reached Dobhi, which is the popular tourist attraction for paragliding.
With this, Arvind decided to take paragliding ride and bought the ticket and went into the sky along with paraglider pilot Haru Ram while his wife was watching him waiting on the ground. Soon after taking off, the safety belt around Arvind's waist broke off with the paraglider, where he crashed into the ground and died on the spot. The pilot Haru Ram who made an emergency landing has also sustained serious injuries. Later, he was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted Arvind's body to Kullu hospital for post-mortem. The preliminary investigation revealed that the safety belt was not tied well due to which the accident occurred.
