Mamata Banerjee has been calling PM Modi "expiry babu" while the PM has called her "speed breaker didi".
WEST BENGAL: On Thursday, the Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee while speaking with a source had said, there is no violence in Bengal.
When questioned about the allegations that Mamata Banerjee was promoting violence during elections in Bengal, she said, "Election Commission is conducting elections, not me. BJP has not done its homework. I am not doing any violence. There is no violence. There are so many blocks and booths, if BJP is going somewhere and doing it, then it's them and no one else."
Mamata Banerjee by attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said he has ruined the nation in the past five years and her main aim right now is "Modi hatao, desh bachao (Remove Modi, save the country)".
When asked if she sees herself as the future Prime Minister of the country, she said, "I just want to see my country safe. Nothing else. The country is not safe under Modi. He has sold the country. He has sold the country's freedom."

While speaking regarding the impact of religion in politics by the BJP, she said, "We never do the politics of Hindu-Muslim. Every religion is my religion, every caste is my caste. Why the BJP does this politics, you should ask Narendra Modi. Mamata Banerjee said she and her party believe in the slogan 'Jai Hind' and not 'Jai Shri Ram'."
"Hamara slogan 'Jai Hind' hai. Hamara slogan hai 'Vande Mataram'. Unka slogan ke bare mein humse mat poocho [Our slogan is Jai Hind and Vande Mataram. Don't ask me about BJP's slogan]," she said.
She said the reason she did not meet PM Modi after Cyclone Fani took over the state was because he was doing politics and had no concern about the well being of the people in Bengal. "Why should I meet him? So, that he can do politics during election time. There were so many floods and cyclones and I went to meet him four times but the Centre did not give any money at all. He had a political meeting and he is saying I should meet him before the meeting. Why? He is a liar. Modi is doing all this for elections, not for the country."
