However, he will be anticipated to participate in the debate. Congress party sources indicate that he is likely to initiate the discussion in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. As per reports, Gaurav Gogoi is the one ready to initiate the debate in the Lok Sabha.
The Lok Sabha is set to engage in discussions regarding a motion of no-confidence on Tuesday. This session is projected to extend for a duration of 12 hours, with approximately 6 hours and 41 minutes allocated for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while the Congress party is granted roughly one hour and 15 minutes, as per sources familiar with the matter.
During this Monsoon Session, the eagerly awaited National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, successfully cleared the Upper House on Monday. Having previously obtained approval from the Lok Sabha the prior week, the bill, aimed at supplanting an ordinance, garnered a 131-102 vote in favor during the Rajya Sabha session. This legislation grants authority to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to oversee Group A services of Delhi, encompassing areas like appointments, transfers, and postings. Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced the bill in the Rajya Sabha.
