Gaiety marks I-Day at RGUKT-Nuzvid
The 70th Independence Day was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies at Nuzvid on Monday.
The 70th Independence Day was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies at Nuzvid on Monday. Speaking after hoisting the national flag, RGUKT-Nuzvid Director Veeranki Venkata Dasu exhorted students to strive for nation building by getting inspiration from the freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for getting Independence to the country from the colonial rule.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to 13 students and NCC cadets of the IIIT who excelled in yoga, sports and NCC events at the national level. Students presented a variety of cultural programmes as part of the Independence Day celebrations. RGUKT-Nuzvid Administrative Officer P Appala Naidu, Dean of Academics K Hanumantha Rao, Finance Officer B Aruna Kumari, PRO B Suresh Babu and faculty members were present.
