City-based photographer, Tamma Srinivasa Reddy, added another feather in his cap as he received a rare invitation from an international association of photography to exhibit his photos in Fourth International Photo Art Exhibition of World Top Photographers - 2016, to be held in Malaysia from December 10 to 12, this year.
City-based photographer, Tamma Srinivasa Reddy, added another feather in his cap as he received a rare invitation from an international association of photography to exhibit his photos in Fourth International Photo Art Exhibition of World Top Photographers - 2016, to be held in Malaysia from December 10 to 12, this year.
Srinivasa Reddy was chosen for the event, based on his high profile of global standards. The gala event would be organised by Photo Art Society Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia, on the eve of society’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The event would be conducted in collaboration with Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique, France, Photographic Society of America, Image Colleague Society International.
Srinivasa Reddy, who is general secretary of the AP Photography Academy, is one of the two participants, representing India. Amitabha Sil of West Bengal is another photographer invited for the event. According to the invitation sent by the Chairman, Photo Art Society Batu Pahat, Koh Kok Wah, photographers of International reputation were invited from 60 countries to take part in the exhibition.
Being a passionate photographer, his professional stint in photography has been lasting since 1984. Honors, awards and laurels came rolling his way. Srinivasa Reddy is the sixth Indian that received Image Colleague Society International (ICS)'s highest Grandmaster Award. He was awarded three fellowships and two Excellency Honours from the ICS affiliated societies in 2012.
He also won many national and international awards, including 169 medals, 482 awards, 832 certificates of merit and his 4865 phots exhibited international salons from last two decades. He received the Grand Master award in photography last year at USA .He is a Fellow of the India International Photographic Council (FIIPC)-INDIA, Fellow of Federation Of Indian Photography (FFIP)-INDIA, Fellow of Photographic Society of Singapore (FPSS) and fellow of many other reputed groups of photography.

There are innumerable awards and recognitions at regional level for him. To mention a few are: Viswadaata Award, 2002 (Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao Pantulu Memorial Award); Andhra Arts Academy Young Photo Journalist Award, 2002; Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao Memorial Photo Journalist Award, 2002; Ugadi Puraskaram 2013 (Govt of AP); Prathibha Puraskar, 2013 (Acharya Nagarjuna University). He was the youngest photo journalist to bag lifetime achievement award for the year 2010 from the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
His name has been figuring in the top ten list of IIPC over the last few years. Extending his services to photography in multiple ways, he trains young photographers and teaches the art to children in various schools. He played a pivotal role in promoting and supporting photographers associations. Reddy plays active role in conducting national and international photo salons and workshops on photography.
He regularly contributes to various journals and periodicals in and out of India. Srinivasa Reddy was felicitated by State Government of Andhra Pradesh, as part of the Ugadi celebrations, 2016. AP government conferred the Kalaratna-Hamsa award on him, commending his services.
