Musical Night remembering Shankar Jaikishan
‘Sounds of Melody’ Orchestra would conduct a Musical Night remembering Renowned music directors of yester years, Shankar-Jaikishan for their contribution to Indian Classical Music.
‘Sounds of Melody’ Orchestra would conduct a Musical Night remembering Renowned music directors of yester years, Shankar-Jaikishan for their contribution to Indian Classical Music. This would be jointly organised by Siddhartha Kalapeethan and Fine Arts Club and Siddhartha Arts and Science college at the college grounds on February 10 at 6 pm, said Shankar –Jaikishan fans association president T Lakshmi on Wednesday.
She said that the chief guest would be the IT Commissioner Shyam Prasad Chowdary along with Minister for water resources development Devineni Uma Maheshwar Rao. The musical night will have names like SN Basha and his orchestra team playing for the audience.
A poster was released in this connection at the Seminar hall in Siddhartha Kalapetam. N Guru Prasad Rao would be felicitated on this occasion, as the central government has announced ‘Basha Samman’ award recently to him for his contribution towards Telugu language. SASC Principal Dr Ramesh Meka, Director V Babu Rao, Dean Dr Rajesh were present.
