He was addressing the media at the Guntur Municipal Corporation after the Guntur city development review meeting on Wednesday. He said after interacting with the officials concerned, that all the works under progress will be finished by October, 2018 and has received proposals from Guntur Municipal Corporation to lay new water pipelines.

The minister added in all the 15 merger villages there will be infrastructure works with an estimated budget of Rs 386 crores. To commemorate the 150 anniversary of Guntur, municipality works worth Rs 757 crores was sent to the government for approval and A cheque of Rs 5 lakh was given to the Premkumar who was mauled by stray dogs recently he said.

Minister for social and tribal welfare N Ananda Babu, District collector Kona Sasidhar, Municipal commissioner C Anuradha, MLC AS Ramakrishna, Guntur MLAs M Venugopala Reddy, Mustafa, and other officials attended the review meeting.
