SRKR students have a field day

The Students of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram expressed the opinion that the the Polavaram irrigation project would be a marvellous structure. About 200 students visited Polavaram irrigation Project from the college led by Senior Professor, V Rama Raju.

The Engineers of the Project explained about the project. The students visited the Spillway and concrete works. The students said that the tunnels under construction which are key for the River Godavari water to flow to Polavaram right and main canals are reflecting the expertise of the engineers. The under tunnel under construction will have an Arch with iron girders.

The engineers explained that if the project completes, the tourists can view the beautiful scenery of River Godavari through boating from Service canal to tunnels.
