City sanctions 2k new pensions
Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai has said the government sanctioned as many as 2,000 new pensions in various categories in the city and the eligible applicants should link their Aadhaar card to get pensions.
Rajamahendravaram: Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai has said the government sanctioned as many as 2,000 new pensions in various categories in the city and the eligible applicants should link their Aadhaar card to get pensions.
Participating in ‘Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru’ programme in the 34th division here on Friday, she said, “The government issued directions to the officials to resolve problems raised in the programme and under the watch of Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.”
She further added that the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) is giving Rs 15,000 for the construction of toilets in the city and advised the people to construct toilets. The Mayor, along with TDP leader, YVG Raidu distributed Chandranna Sankranthi kits to the beneficiaries.
Municipal Commissioner, V Vijayarama Raju informed that Rs 40 crore worth of proposals were sent to the government, including the construction of a stadium in the city, catering to a long pending demand.
