NGOs congratulate Collector
District Collector B Lakshmikantham was commended by the Andhra Pradesh NGO organisation for getting ISO recognition at the Collector Camp Office here on Wednesday.
Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham was commended by the Andhra Pradesh NGO organisation for getting ISO recognition at the Collector Camp Office here on Wednesday.
Responding to the appreciations, the Collector said that with the collective support of the officials and the employees, the district had been recognised at the national and international-levels in all sectors. “With collective sincere support we can achieve desired results for the district,” he reiterated.
The Collector proudly said that besides development and welfare schemes, the district atop its peers in the state for delivering special services to the people. “Out of 15 items in Janmabhoomi, the district was top in 11 items and 4th in the rest,” he added.
AP NGO district president A Vidyasagar said that it was their duty to deliver the schemes implemented by the government to the people and the employees of Krishna district would always be ahead. He thanked the Collector for taking interest in solving the problems of TB control employees immediately. NGO leaders K Ravi, B Aravind, V Nagarjuna, B Krishna Kishore, VV Prasad and others were present at the event.
