Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said that the officials cancelled the licenses of six ration shop dealers in the city without specifying proper reasons. The Sub-Collector also assured to continue the six ration shop dealers up to February 15 but officials of Civil Supplies department going against the Sub-Collector's orders.

The licenses of Sappa Parvathi (ration shop number 19), M Chakradhar (ration shop number 35), Yatendra Kumar (ration shop number 54), Rama Lakshmi (shop number 55), Bhulakshmi (ration shop number 677) and Subramanyam (ration shop number 73) were cancelled. He appealed to the Sub-Collector to continue them up to the middle of this month. Association member Adiraju, Battina Narayana Rao and others were present.
