Seize shops for dumping garbage onto road
The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner, Challa Anuradha directed officials to seize the shops of owners who dump the garbage onto roads at the 4th lane in Arundalpet on Friday.She inspected several roads in Seethanagaram.
Guntur: The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner, Challa Anuradha directed officials to seize the shops of owners who dump the garbage onto roads at the 4th lane in Arundalpet on Friday.She inspected several roads in Seethanagaram.
Speaking on the occasion, she instructed the officials to stop illegal constructions in Nehru Nagar and directed them to clean the drains for the smooth flow of drain water. She ordered for removal of silt with the help of JCBs in the drains. She directed the public health and engineering officials to tour in the wards and identify civic problems to take steps to solve the problems.
Later, she inspected markings given by town planning department officials for Amaravati Road widening works. Earlier, she visited Seethanagaram, Telecom Nagar, Paramayakunta and inspected sanitation and gave suggestions to the officials.
