SRKR professor gets Ph D from AU
P Vijaya Kumar Raju, senior professor of Mechanical Engineering wing of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram has received the doctorate from Andhra University.
Bhimavaram: P Vijaya Kumar Raju, senior professor of Mechanical Engineering wing of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram has received the doctorate from Andhra University.
Vijaya Kumar Raju, at the age of 60 years, has taken up the thesis on “Investigations on Bio- Metallic Composite materials: Al-ca systems” under the guidance of Andhra University Metallurgy department senior professor Dr NRM Bhargav. The Andhra University has awarded the Ph D in Metallurgy department.
The college principal Dr G Pardhasaradhi Varma and governing body president Sagi Prasada Raju congratulated Dr Vijaya Kumara Raju at a programme held on Sunday on the college premises. The college secretary and correspondent, Sagi Vithal Rangaraju appreciated Vijaya Kumar Raju for achieving the doctorate.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has cautioned all Engineering Colleges by stating that Ph D was minimum requirement for the teaching personnel who wish to work in engineering colleges. After the AICTE’s decision, Vijaya Kumar Raju with his determination has achieved his goal.
The college vice-presidents P Krishnamraju, Gokaraju Rambabu, CEO SRK Nishanth Varma and Mechanical Engineering head Dr K Brahmaraju congratulated Dr VIjaya Kumar Raju on his achievement.
