The students of Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women have bagged the prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) award. The winning students have received the award from Union Science and Technology Minister Harshavardhan at a programme held in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Bhimavaram: The students of Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women have bagged the prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) award. The winning students have received the award from Union Science and Technology Minister Harshavardhan at a programme held in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The college principal Dr G Srinivasa Rao and vice-principal P Srinivasa Raju, while congratulating the students, aspired them to reach highest goals in their life. The team of students, who designed a new application to the hearing-impaired people (Buzzing Band for Hearing Challenged), Saka Naveena (EEE), Panchakarla Priyanka (ECE), Murikipudi Bindu Madhavi (ECE) and Konde Dhanalakshmi (IT) won the prestigious GYTI award. The team was led by lecturers Padma Vasavi and Viswanath.

Another team of students that designed smell your health (useful for the neurological patients) Srilekha Palla (M Tech), Chinta Jyothi (JRF) and Dr Mohan Varma (Vishnu Pharmacy College) bagged another medal, led by Prof Pushpa.
