The Purnahuti programme of the Sahasra Chandi Sahita Atirudra Mahayagam was performed to mark the completion of the five-day Mahayagam at Harihara Kshetram in Chimakurthy on Wednesday.

The Sahasra Chandi Sahita Atirudra Mahayagam was performed for five days from April 7 to 11 by the family of the Minister Siddha Raghavarao. In the five days, thousands of devotees visited the Harihara Kshetram in Chimakurthy daily to participate in the Mahayagam. Raghavarao said that the Mahayagam was performed to seek the divine gods to bestow peace, harmony, success and prosperity to the people in the Andhra Pradesh.
On Wednesday, to mark the conclusion of Mahayagam, the remaining consumables that were brought for the programme were offered to Agni as Purnahuti under the guidance of Visakha Sarada Peethadhipati Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swami, Swami Vishwam Ji, Penukonda Asram Krishnandan Swami, Erpedu Purnananda Giri Swami, ISKCON Ramamuralidas Swami and others.
Ministers Pathipati Pullarao, Kollu Ravindra, MLCs Karanam Balaram, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, MLAs Damacharla Janardhana Rao, Pothula Ramarao, Paidikondala Manikyala Rao, State Women Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Ongole dairy chairman Siddha Venkateswara Rao and others participated in the Mahayagam on last day.
