YSRCP demands probe into Lokesh's education expenses

Questions Naidu on the source of income for securing seat for an average scoring son in prestigious Stanford University in America In a fresh attack on TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Wednesday demanded him to disclose the source of money spent on his son Lokesh's education in Stanford University, America. Addressing the press here, party senior leader and MLA Srikanth Reddy alleged that Lokesh was an average student and it not an easy task to secure a seat in such an institution. It is an open secret that huge sums of money were spent to get a seat for Lokesh in the Stanford, he said. Alleging that Naidu used his family members for money laundering during their visits to foreign countries, Reddy questioned if Naidu had sold his properties for his son's education. "If it is true, then he should make the information public. If not, he should reveal the source of money," he said. Reddy also demanded Naidu to come forward for a probe on the issue and prove his innocence following allegations that the latter indulged in money laundering for his son's studies during his rule. Answering a query, Srikanth Reddy said that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's brother-in- law, Anil might take legal action against those who made allegations that he had amassed wealth and encroached lands during former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's regime.
