Hyderabad: Telangana employees would not keep quiet if the Centre, bowing down to pressure from Seemandhra lobbies, takes a decision to give an option to the government staff from Seemandhra to continue working in their existing locations even after the bifurcation of the State, TNGOs president G Deviprasad said.

Speaking to reporters after the state executive council meeting of the TNGO central union here on Saturday, he pointed out that the separate State movement gained momentum because of ‘illegal’ government postings in Telangana region in violation of Presidential Order and GO 610. It would not make any sense if these anomalies were not corrected even after division of the State, Deviprasad said. Deviprasad further informed that TNGOs would lend their full support to the ongoing stir by residents of Bhadrachalam division, who had been demanding that the Central government not forcibly merge the division with the residuary State. He said that TNGOs would conduct ‘Chalo Bhadrachalam and Chalo Munagala’ protests on November 23 and 24 to support their cause.
