He said all people of Andhra Pradesh have a desire for the united state and not for the packages from the center. In an open letter sent to the people of Andhra Pradesh, he expressed his anguish on Sonia and congress party for their own way of approach adopted to divide the state.

He alleged that Sonia has determined to ruin the nation starting with bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He gave a call to the people of Andhra Pradesh to throw out Sonia from the country. He opined if all MPs might have resigned along with him, such a situation could have not arisen. He wondered who will guarantee for the promises made by the UPA government on state bifurcation after 2014 elections.
