RGV kicks up 'T' storm, questions KCR

Film-maker Ram Gopal Varma is more in the news for his tweets than his movies. At least that's how he seems to be in the spotlight or should we say spot? RGV is known for his funny and sometimes bold tweets that often lands him in trouble.

Unfortunately, this time the film-maker has chosen a very wrong topic at the wrong time. Ever since the fight for separate statehood for Telangana intensified, people from the film fraternity have exercised caution and refrain from making any controversial statements.

However, RGV is a class apart. He has picked up the hot political topic at the wrong time. And this time, his target is none other than TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao. Perhaps newspapers couldn't satisfy RGV's curiosity anf thus the film-maker chose to pose direct questions to KCR himself.

Here's what he wrote on his twitter page... “Why states in united states don’t ask for separate states?..is it because the states in united states don’t have capable leaders like KCR? I would really want to see what KCR would have done in his life if he was born as an American in Washington DC?” I really wonder why no state in the united states asks for a separate state? Is it because the states in India were never united or is it because we as Indians are incapable of staying united? Should we learn from united states on how states shoud be united or should we accept that we don’t know how to stay united like United States?”

Now, we wonder what kind of response KCR has to offer.
