Hyderabad: The NRI Telugu couple, Vallabhaneni Chandrasekhar and Anupama returned Hyderabad on various dates. It is evident that the Telugu couple was jailed by Narway for threatening their kid, harshly. They were in the jail for almost one year, in accordance with Norway law.
Originally hailing from Krishna district, before three years, Chandrasekhar, a software engineer by profession along with his wife and two children left for Norway. Upon receiving a complaint from Chandrasekhar's son's school teacher, Chandrasekhar allegedly threatened his son of sending back him to India.
When the school teachers were informed of the incident by Sai Sriram (son of Chandrasekhar), based on the complaint of school teachers, the police lodged a case.
The court viewed the matter as very serious and ordered for 18 months jailing to Chandrasekhar and 15 months jailing to Anupama. Later, the court reduced the period by one year and 11 months, respectively. Anupama was released on September, 22 and reached Hyderabad immediately. Chandrasekhar returned on December, 4 as his jailing period was concluded on December, 2.
The children of Anupama and Chandrasekhar were sent back to India to stay with their grandparents during their period of jailing.
