According to one of the ministers, Kiran prefers to be in the Assembly on January 17 when it would reassemble for discussing the draft T Bill after the Sankranti break. However, a large number of T leaders as well as MPs like Lagadapati Rajagopal have decided to attend the meeting.
Seemandhra MPs Rajagopal and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, sources say, propose to move a non official resolution seeking revocation of the CWC resolution to bifurcate the State. It is said that they have already submitted the resolution to AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi. According to a veteran Congress leader, the AICC has powers to reject the resolution under Article 13 (B), sub clause (E) of the constitution of the AICC.
