Hyderabad: The Minister for Primary Education and legislative affairs of state assembly, Sake Sailajanath on Friday in assembly hall said that Telangana means Telugu Song.

Sailajanath said due to the tuft between the Telugu people, our own land has been given to other states. He spoke on the Telangana reorganization bill in the state assembly and said that the then leaders have opposed the merger of Andhra state with Hyderabad state.

He said Burgula Rama Krishna Rao agreed for the merger, only if Hyderabad was made as the capital for the emerging state. Sailajanath said Visalandhra agitation began in Telangana only.

Sailajanath identified them not as wanders rather as Telugu people. He said on the invitation of Telangana people only, the Andhra people sacrificed their Kurnool capital and migrated to Hyderabad. Just for the sake military needs Nizam sacrificed Coastal Andhra, added Sailajanath; and said the Telugu state is the resultant of a fight back that last for thousands of years. He said the Telangana agitation began for the only reason that one of the leaders of Telangana region didn’t get ministry.
