Tirupati: Rain causes inconvenience

On Sunday afternoon, the sudden and heavy shower caused extreme inconvenience to the devotees, who visited Tirumala from various places. According to the sources, the devotees on a visit to Tirumala were left stranded at various places including the Annadanam complex, cottages, tonsure centres, reception counters and laddu counters.

The unforeseen rains not only caused problems to the devotees alone, but also for Motorists. They were all forced to halt and take cover under trees and shelter zones erected along the ghat roads, with no lull from the heavy downpour.
