When the deal was not fixed, he withdrew support. This was revealed by TDP Polit Bureau Member and former Minister Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu.
A Congress Rajya Sabha member had once made a sensational claim that berths in the Upper House are available for Rs 100 crores and it had triggered a wide spread controversy.
Interestingly, the Congress MP had only disclosed Rajya Sabha seats on sale for Rs.100 crore. But one of the TDP leaders revealed how much a member can earn by supporting a candidate.
It is a known fact that two rebels - Congress MLC Chaitanya Raju and MLA Adala Prabhakar Reddy filed nominations on 'united Andhra Pradesh' plank. Many MLAs have signed the nomination.
Narsipatnam MLA Bolem Mutyala Papa is also one among 10 MLAs who signed the nominations supporting Chaitanya Raju. It is learnt that Mutyala Papa got Rs 50m lakh from Chaitanya Raju to extend his support for him.

Addressing a public meeting, Ayyanna also accused Mutyala Papa of degrading the image of Narsipatnam for fixing deals.
