The Congress Working Committee meeting that was held at the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s residence on Friday took some crucial decisions on Telangana issue. As it was learnt that the Telangana Bill will reach the President of India from the Andhra Pradesh state assembly on Sunday, reportedly, the future strategies on the very matter have been discussed in this meeting.

According to the sources, the CWC meeting will be held once again on Monday. The Congress Party in charge of Andhra Pradesh state affairs, Digvijay Singh on Fridayaddressed the media in New Delhi and said the central government has been abide by their decision of formation of Telangana state.

Digvijay reiterated that there are no loop holes in Telangana bill that could legally implicate the process. He said the Seemandhra people residing in Hyderabad will be given due protection and said it was not correct to say that the union government was not considering the problems of Seemandhra people. He said the problems of Seemandhra will be surely addressed.

Diggy said Seemandhra people’s rights for education and employment in Hyderabad will be considered at appropriate level. He denied the opinion of few leaders that Telangana bill should be thrown in the dustbin. Diggy said Congress Party will wait till 3 p.m on Friday before they take any decision, as far as the party rebels for Rajya Sabha fray are concerned.
