New Delhi: State politics are changing very swiftly. Just after the implicit conclusion of state bifurcation by the union government, now all eyes turn on the state politics to know whether it will be the imposition of the President’s rule or appointment of the new Chief Minister.

It is worth mentioning here that showing dissent over the state bifurcation, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy has offered his resignation to the post of the Chief Minister on Wednesday.

In view of the looming decision from either options by the Congress Party High command whether to choose the New Chief Minister or imposing President’s rule, the expectants of the CM post have now started calling on the Congress Party president Sonia Gandhi one after the other and have been lobbying for the key post.

Prominent leaders like Uttam Kumar Reddy from Telangana region and Kanna Lakshmi Narayana from residual Andhra Pradesh have called on Sonia Gandhi on Saturday.

News is making rounds that the Congress Party is not showing interest in imposing the President’s rule in the state. Nevertheless, they are not even sure whether to wait till the issue of President’s Gazette notification for the formation of Telangana and appoint two CMs to either region or to appoint a single CM.
