Renuka Choudhary to contest for LS from Khammam

New Delhi: Renuka Choudhary, a senior Congress Party MP of Rajya Sabha on Wednesday said that it was let slipped that there will not be either merger or alliance with TRS Party.

Renuka said Congress Party was ever ready to fight in the polls single-handedly. She said it was for the betterment of the Congress Party that TRS denied the merger and said she was happy with the decision of TRS Party.

Further, she said everyone was aware that Sonia Gandhi has carved Telangana after facing so many problems; and people realize that fact. To show their gratitude for Sonia, said Renuka that people will give Congress Party, a grand victory in the impending elections.

She said a powerful leader should be made PCC Chief of Telangana so as to give a tough fight to TRS in the looming elections. She said that she would contest for Lok Sabha from Khammam constituency.
