Eluru: Murali Mohan, a Tollywood veteran actor and Telugu Desam Party senior leader, was arrested by the police on Thursday for allegedly violating the election code. He was arrested on the charges of holding a bike rally without permission at Dwaraka Tirumala on Mar 29.
Along with him Lakshmi Ramani, a TDP ZPTC member, was also booked in the same case. The duo has been presented before Bheemadolu court. It is evident that Murali Mohan is contesting the looming elections from Rajahmundry constituency on TDP ticket.
