Eminent socialist Sunil Gupta passes away. Eminent socialist Sunil Gupta, more aptly known as Sunil Bhai was expired at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi late on Monday night.

Hyderabad: Eminent socialist Sunil Gupta, more aptly known as Sunil Bhai was expired at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi late on Monday night.

Gupta was the general secretary of the Samajwadi Jan Parishad, a Madhya Pradesh based party founded by Kishan Patnaik that evolved from the socialist propensity which did never participate in the Janata government. Gupta was 54 when he brethed his last and was survived by his wife Smita and children Iqbal Abhimanyu and Shiuli Vanja.


According to sources, Gupta suffered a stroke on April 16 following high fever, for which he did not opt allopathic medicine, stretched to his brain. He was admitted in hospitals in Hoshangabad and Bhopal before being flown to Delhi where he passed away on Monday night.
