Modi spoke to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief to know about the simultaneous polling for 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the region, TDP sources said.
Expressing his satisfaction over the heavy turnout, Naidu, a former chief minister, conveyed to Modi that he is confident of the TDP-BJP alliance sweeping the polls.
Under the alliance, BJP is contesting four Lok Sabha and 13 assembly seats. Modi had campaigned in Seemandhra along with Naidu and Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan.
