Why so Much Angst Against Polavaram, Asks Somireddy. Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, a Telugu Desam Party leader, on Thursday, wondered why there had been so much of ordeal against Polavaram.
Hyderabad: Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, a Telugu Desam Party leader, on Thursday, wondered why there had been so much of ordeal against Polavaram. He addressed the media at NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad and said that why there had been so much of tribulation, if few mandals of Khammam district were included in Seemandhra. He further wondered why TRS leaders have been attacking TDP in this matter.
Somireddy surprised whether TRS would accept the rejection of Greater Hyderabad people. He said that they would demand to make Hyderabad, a union territory. TDP was against any such act that would trouble Telangana people, added Somireddy.
Somireddy further said that KCR had demanded for the same Telangana that was merged in 1956. If it were the case, as many as 8 mandals of Khammam districts have to be included in Seemandhra, added Somireddy. He said KCR might have forgotten his words.
