Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh state assembly on Monday has passed the bill concerning the increasing of retirement age of state government employees from 58 to 60 yrs. The AP Public Employment Amendment Bill-2014 has been passed in the state assembly. With this, the state government employees who are about to retire this month gets more two years period to serve in the state government.

It is evident that it was one of the five files signed by Chandrababu Naidu, on the day when he has sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 8, 2014. While few employees have been feeling happy over the issue, few others have been unhappy over the very matter as the same is concerned with their promotions and other related issues.
