He said that it took almost 55 years for Hyderabad to get developed, while it took 9 years for him to develop Cyberabad with about Rs 13 lakh crore investments from the Government of India, the state government and the private sector. He sought to assure people that he would build a world class capital city and transform the state into a happy Andhra Pradesh in addition to making it a Swarnaandhrapradesh, which literally means the golden Andhra Pradesh.
