Hyderabad: The Nagaram GAIL pipeline blast has a severe impact at the various CNG pumps in the twin cities. The pumps have been shut down indefinitely following no supply of gas from GAIL.
The stoppage of CNG supplies to retail outlets was not only worst hit in Hyderabad alone, but also in Vijayawada and Kakinada. The same has led for major hassle to auto rickshaw drivers and owners of four-wheelers that run on CNG. All the banks have stuck a notice informing customers that the supply has been stopped.
As there was no prior information or notice the auto rickshaw owners have been facing lot many problems. A total of 13 HPCL CNG stations, one owned by the IOC and two owned by the Bhagyanagar Gas Ltd all were shut down as there was no gas available for supply.
