To clear extra summer passenger rush, the East Coast Railway has decided to run a pair of super-fast express trains 02871/02872 between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad, according to Divisional Commercial Manager, Waltair Division P Ch Ramu Naidu.
Visakhapatnam: To clear extra summer passenger rush, the East Coast Railway has decided to run a pair of super-fast express trains 02871/02872 between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad, according to Divisional Commercial Manager, Waltair Division P Ch Ramu Naidu.
He said that Train No. 02871 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad Superfast Express will leave Visakhapatnam on May 8 and 10 (Friday and Sunday) at 4.45 pm and would reach Secunderabad on the next day at 5.30 am. In return direction, train No.02872 Secunderabad- Visakhapatnam Superfast Express will leave Secunderabad on May 9 and 11 (Saturday and Monday) at 9.40 pm which will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 10.25 am.
These trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Satenapalli, Piduguralla, Nadikude, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. The train will have one second AC coach, three third AC coaches, five sleeper class coaches, four second class coaches and two second class sitting cum luggage coaches in its composition, Naidu added.
