Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET)-2015 for admission into MBA and MCA will be conducted on May 16 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Giving details of the Common Entrance Test here on Thursday, Vice- Chancellor Prof. G S N Raju informed that the CET Code will be announced on the exam day at 6 am by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao in the presence of Chairman of AP State Council for Higher Education Prof. L Venugopala Reddy.
He said a total of 78,755 candidates will be appearing for the test to be held in 136 centres covering 16 regional centers across the State. The candidates, he said, will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 am or to leave before 12.30 pm and they shall have to reach the centers one hour before the commencement of the exam. The test will be held in 14 centers in the city, he added.
Test Convener Prof. Ch V Ramachandra Murthy said if any candidate requires duplicate hall-ticket, he or she should contact Chief Superintendent concerned one day before the exam after producing two attested photographs and by paying Rs 50. He said that answers must be marked on OMR answer sheet with black or blue ball point pen only and any type of electronic gadgets will not be allowed into the exam hall.
If there is any correction to the candidate’s name or father’s name, category, date of birth and any other correction may be made by the candidate in the nominal rolls at the time of examination and not in the OMR answer sheet. In case, if the downloaded e-hall ticket is without photograph, the candidate should attend to the exam with two photographs attested by Gazetted Officer.
