On June 6, a Deeksha will be undertaken by Congress MP T. Subbirami Reddy at Rajahmundry for the AP special status. Subbirami Reddy on Monday said that on June 3, the Congress activists will stage protests at Visakha, Viziayanagaram on June 4 and Srikakulam on June 5.

Stating that the Congress will not rest until AP achieves the Special Status, Subbirami Reddy demanded High Court to be established at Visakha along with the conversion of NIMS at Visakhapatnam to AIIMS.


Holding the Chandrababu Naidu Government in AP and Modi Government at the Centre responsible for not fulfilling the promises made to the people, Congress leader Dronamraju Srinivas said that AP government has failed to bring up the new railway division.
