Hyderabad: Governor E S L Narasimhan is exploring the possibilities of convening a joint meeting with both the Chief Ministers, N Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh) and K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana) to end the ongoing cold war between them over the issue of ‘cash-for-vote’ case.

According to sources, the Governor has been advised by the Centre to invite both the Chief Ministers for a joint meeting to resolve the differences. However, going by the tough stand adopted by both Naidu and KCR against each other, a joint meeting looks almost impossible, at least in near future.

While KCR has alleged that Naidu was directly involved in the nominated MLA’s bribery case, Naidu had accused the Telangana State government of tapping his phones. Naidu has lodged a formal complaint with the Centre against the TS government.
