Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who held a teleconference meeting with Fibre Grid, Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (INCAP) and AP Transco officials on Wednesday said that internet connectivity would be provided to all households by March next year.

Chandrababu elaborated on the government’s initiatives to deliver the internet services to every doorstep in the state. The Chief Minister examined the progress of the fibre grid project that will touch 3.5 lakh electricity poles and run for a distance of 30,000 km in the state.

He also informed that 2,500 solar pump sets will be set up by the government for agriculture purposes and urged the AP Transco authorities to lower the transmission, distribution losses to 9 percent.
