AP Pratyeka Hoda Sadhana Samithi and Left parties’ workers staged protests seeking arrest of the BJP activists who attacked the students. AP CPI State secretary Ramakrishna criticized the BJP party and demanded resignation of Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu over the issue.
BJP on the other hand defended the attack stating that the students had tried to attack the BJP office which the reason they retaliated.
