Tirupati: BJP Telangana State president G Kishan Reddy observed that the law makers should act in restraint to enhance the image of legislative bodies.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Kishan Reddy said that at a time when the people were loathing legislators, politicians and political parties it is rather imperative on the part of the leaders like MPs and MLAs to exercise restraint and they should be utmost careful of their act or speech in the legislatures.

The BJP leader answering a query on the incident in the AP Assembly, leading to the suspension of YSRCP MLA RK Roja, said that it was shameful and will further lower the image of the legislators among the public. “People are already detesting politicians and such incidents will add more to it,’’ he averred.

On the GHMC election, Kishan Reddy said the TDP-BJP combine will trounce the TRS-Majlis combine in the corporation election. The TRS government indulged in all sort of mean and unethical means to ensure it victory but people are wise enough to see through the game of the party and will teach a lesson to the party in the election.

The TRS government deleted 14 lakh voters who are having their origin in the district outside Hyderabad city, reorganised and reserved the wads in such a manner to suit it in the election but despite all these the people will see the party is defeated in the GHMC election, he added.

Kishan Reddy who was here on a pilgrimage, earlier offered prayers in Tirumala temple after which he inaugurated the Annadanam to poor organised by senior city BJP leader MR Raja at Tirupati Railway station to mark the birthday of BJP patriarch Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on Friday. BJP State party spokesperson G Bhanuprakash Reddy, district secretary S Srinivas, city secretary K Ajay Kumar and others were present.
